Sandra Siemens

Sandra Siemens is an award-winning Argentine writer of children’s and young adult literature. Born in 1965, she studied literature at the National University of Rosario and has published extensively in Argentina and abroad. Her work has received numerous honors, including the Norma-Fundalectura Award, the El Barco de Vapor Prize, several White Ravens selections, and recognition on the IBBY Honour List. She received a Konex Award for children’s literature in 2024 and was Argentina’s nominee for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award in 2023 and 2024.
