Paula Fernándezis an Argentine writer, editor, and graphic designer born in Buenos Aires in 1967. A graduate of the University of Buenos Aires, she worked for two decades in graphic design before turning her focus to writing and publishing. She is the founder and editor of Ojoreja, an independent Argentine publishing house known for its carefully designed illustrated books for children and young readers. Fernández has also taught at the University of Buenos Aires and the Universidad Nacional de las Artes. Her work as both author and editor has received national and international recognition, including ALIJA distinctions and the Prix Michel Tournier in France. Her books often combine literature, art, nature, and cultural identity, reflecting the distinctive visual and editorial approach that has come to define Ojoreja.
