Pablo Bernasconi is an award-winning Argentine illustrator, author, and graphic designer known for his inventive use of collage, photography, drawing, and digital techniques. Born in Buenos Aires in 1973, he studied graphic design at the University of Buenos Aires and has worked for major publications including Clarín, La Nación, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
He has illustrated and written numerous children’s books, many of which have received international recognition. Bernasconi was a finalist for the Hans Christian Andersen Award in 2018 and received Argentina’s Konex de Platino for children’s literature in 2024. He currently lives and works in Bariloche, Patagonia.
