Mey Clerici is an Argentine illustrator, author, and art educator whose work is full of color, humor, and playful energy. She has illustrated numerous books for children and young readers and has also contributed to projects for UNICEF and the Argentine children’s channel Pakapaka.
Together with illustrator Ivanke, she co-created Pequeños Grandes Mundos, an art and education project that brought workshops to children in more than 30 countries. The project later became a book recognized with a 2019 ALIJA Destacado; ALIJA is the Argentine branch of IBBY, the International Board on Books for Young People. Mey’s work is rooted in curiosity, play, and the idea of drawing as a way to connect with others.
