Gabriela is an illustrator and author with a long career dedicated to creating books for children. Her works have been published in Argentina and in many other countries, including Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Mexico, the United States, China, Spain, and the United Arab Emirates.
Together with illustrator Jimena Tello, she runs Taller Dos Meninas, where they teach professional illustration classes and organize a variety of art-related workshops.
Her books have received recognition from prestigious organizations such as the Cuatrogatos Foundation and Banco del Libro de Venezuela. Her illustrations were also selected for exhibition at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair in 2021 and the Bratislava Illustration Biennial in 2023.
Her work stands out for its humor, originality, and bold challenge to established conventions.
