Graciela Bialet is an Argentine writer, educator, and reading advocate based in Córdoba. She studied Social Communication and Education and holds a master’s degree in Reading Promotion and Children’s Literature. Alongside her literary work, she has taught, led reading workshops, created the Volver a Leer program, and worked extensively on public reading initiatives. Her books for children and young readers include Los sapos de la memoria, Si tu signo no es cáncer, El jamón del sánguche, Caracoleando, and De boca en boca.
Bialet’s work has received important recognition in both literature and reading promotion. Si tu signo no es cáncerreceived a Destacado from ALIJA (the Argentine branch of IBBY, the International Board on Books for Young People), and her Volver a Leer program received the Pregonero Award from Fundación El Libro. She was also honored with the 2017 La Hormigüita Viajera Award in Literature and Human Rights, reflecting a body of work deeply committed to memory, young readers, and social awareness.
