Alberto knew from an early age that he wanted to be an artist. He has worked as an illustrator and comic book artist for a variety of publications and publishers, including Eura in Italy and DC Comics in the United States. He has also created designs and storyboards for films such as Highlander II and Cenizas del Paraíso, as well as production and costume designs for live shows and advertising.
He has taught art and participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions. In recent years, he has also turned to writing. His books include Tecitos de Lágrimas de Dragón, El Microscopio de Nicolás, Ba-Bau se ha perdido, and La vida secreta de las pulgas. Syncretic Press has published his book Mateo conoce.
