Agnès lives in the French countryside along the banks of the Garonne River. As a child, she played the accordion to annoy her neighbors, and later brought two wonderful children into the world so she could try everything out on them.
She has been writing children’s books since 2003 and also works as a journalist. The Girl Who Didn’t Spit was her first children’s novel, and since then, there has been no stopping her. She has published nearly fifty picture books and children’s books, as well as more than sixty articles.
Her book La gran fábrica de las palabras has sold more than 120,000 copies and has been translated into over ten languages. Fortunately, she still finds time to dream, scuba dive, listen to her children, and make crêpes.
